The 3M Cloud Library is another way to download eBooks for free to your computer or mobile device. Have a library card and an internet connection? Then you can browse through, borrow from, and enjoy the many e-books available to you through TRAC via the 3M Cloud Library! Loan period: 21 days Check out limit: 10 items at a time E-Books can be placed on hold, and you will be notified via email when your book is ready for checkout Automatic returns (or you can return early!)

But what if I have an e-reader?
1) Browse the TRAC 3M Cloud Library. Visit www.tracpac.ab.ca and click on Downloadable Audiobooks/eBooks. Choose 3M Cloud Library. Log in with your library card barcode and PIN. You’ll now be able to see all of the books

2) Download the App you need! 3M Cloud Library has apps in the following formats:
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Simply: 1) Open your 3M app on your PC or MAC. 2) Plug your e-reader into your computer with the USB cable it came with 3) A green button will appear in front of your downloaded books that says “download to device.” Click it and wait for your e-book to transfer.
FAQ How do I return a title? Titles return automatically at the end of the loan period. However, you may return a title early. Click on the My Books tab in the app. Choose Currently Reading, then click List View. A Check In button will appear beside each title. How do I place a hold on a title that is currently checked out? If an item is not currently available, click on Request this Download to place a hold on it. Your holds are listed under the My Books tab.

Accept the legal terms and click Login. 4) You will be asked to activate an Adobe ID. Use the one you already have for other ematerial apps, or let the program create one for you. 5) Browse the collection, place holds, and start reading!
Once the title becomes available, you will receive an email with instructions to check the item out. The item will be held for 7 days . If you do not check it within that time frame, your hold will be removed and it becomes available to the next person.
