Approval of Minutes Approval of minutes will need to wait as the motion and second were inaudible on the tape. It should be noted that the November 4, 2015 minutes had the following correction which has been updated: Chair Bywater stated the minutes indicated “Wayne Larsen moving from Brigham City to Brigham City should say Tremonton to Brigham City.” Young Eagles Mr. Holt passed out brochures to the group which speaks about the Young Eagles Program. He would like to request the board’s permission to have the event at the airport on June 4, 2016. Director Pugsley said we have a lot of events in the month of June but Mr. Holt does most of the work and we have been able to work through this just fine. Mr. Holt said we are usually in and out by 1PM. Last year we signed up 65 kids to participate. Director Pugsley said it was an efficient program. Mr. Holt said we have always appreciated the assistance from the City. Mr. Holt stated this program helps those kids who are serious about being pilots, take the next step. Again, motion and second inaudible. IFR Presentation – Kirk Nielsen Please see attached Power Point Presentation SRE Mr. Nielsen wanted to update the group on the SRE building. It has been operational since April 20, 2015. They closed out with the FAA on August 24, 2015. The first of April will be a final one year warranty walk through. Director Pugsley said it has been working well. We had some issues that we remedied ourselves as they were any easy fix. Director Pugsley reviewed some of the problems that were handled in house. We really have been put to the test with snow removal and we have been averaging about 1.5 hours which is amazing in comparison to years past. Director Pugsley reviewed his process when it comes to snow removal and NOTAMS.
Maintenance Report/Update – Tyler Pugsley Director Pugsley is working on a spreadsheet for the instrumentation to tell him where they are having problems and create a history. He is doing this not only to help him but to be able to provide information to anyone who may need it. Director Pugsley explained what the efforts and plans which have been done with the adapters and lights at the airport. Director Pugsley said we had a prefabricated roof put on the north storm water pump house because of water leakage. It has been foam insulated, a humidifier and a fan placed inside to keep the temperature constant. Also, we are talking about doing this on our south storm water pump house.
