The weather was cold and it was wet and rainy, but this did not deter our teams from playing some fantastic rugby. The Year 3 and 4 finished as runners up in the Plate and Years 5 and 6 after finishing second in their pool went through to the cup. They won their quarter final, rd but were knocked out in the semi’s resulting in an extremely respectable 3 place overall. Most pleasing was the amazing team spirit and determination that they showed whilst playing some of the much larger town schools. We have also asked the children to th draw portraits of the queen for display at the village tea party on Saturday 11 June. Finished pictures can be handed rd in to school by Friday 3 June. th
