LEARN, PRACTICE & PLAY! FIVE WEEKS for as LOW AS $60 Fun Programs for the Entire Family! BCTA’s signature five-hour instructional/play programs present tennis to youth and adult beginner/intermediate players. The BCTA uses USTA’s game-based approach to group teaching and the exciting new QuickStart format— fast, fun ways to get into tennis and keep playing. Emphasis is on fun, friends, fitness and play, while learning and practicing fundamental tennis strokes, rules, and strategies. Loaner racquets available; class size limited.
BCTA partners with parks and recreation agencies & schools to offer affordable, quality tennis programs on public courts and gymnasiums throughout Bucks County. SPECIAL PROGRAMS & EVENTS YOUTH TEAM TENNIS: Youth participants (ages 7–13) are eligible to represent their community at a the BCTA Team Tennis event at the end of each 5-week program. All youth participants receive a FREE team T-shirt! PEE-WEE (ages 4–6) and LITTLE ACES (ages 7–9) QUICKSTART YOUTH TENNIS: This exciting new play format utilizes specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring—all tailored to age and size. ADULT FLEX-TIME TENNIS LEAGUE: Play men's and women's singles, doubles and/or mixed doubles at your skill level and convenience—any time, any place. Advanced beginner (2.5–3.0) & Intermediate (3.5–4.0) PLUS USTA Recreational Coach Workshop: March 19 in New Hope—for parents, teachers, coaches, high school/college players and all tennis enthusiasts—great for those seeking seasonal coaching positions. First Annual Bucks County Tennis Ball Hunt: Newtown, March 26; 11a.m.–12 noon. Ages 4–9. BCTA Junior Classic: a USTA-sanctioned tournament (Bucks County Community College - October) Summer Youth Camp programs: Langhorne, Levittown, & Newtown sites Adaptive Tennis: spring and fall programs, plus one-day free clinics with OPAF Adult Fall Doubles and Mixed Doubles Leagues: Doylestown Borough & Langhorne sites
