HABITAT CONSTRUCTION SET THE FUTURE OF BUGS...BUG-OPOLIS! Imagine your own futuristic city for ants, ladybugs, beetles or spiders. Over 50 constructions pieces allow you to design hundreds of configurations. Podz act as mini habitats. Tubes let bugs travel from pod to pod. Put leaves, dirt, sand or sawdust into podz then watch your bugs dig and tunnel, tailoring the habitat to their liking.
Instructions: CREATING A HABITAT WITH BUG PODZ Bug Podz pieces can be assembled into many unique designs. To begin, start with a pod piece and attach a connector piece. You may then add corner connectors, or either size tubes, to the end of the connector piece. From there you may build up or out with additional pieces, or use a doorway plug to close off the ends. Connector pieces must be used between all other pieces. You may use as many or as few pieces as needed to complete your design. To keep bugs safely within your habitat, be sure to use a doorway plug on all openings. Before adding bugs, create a bug-friendly environment within your habitat by adding dirt, leaves and/or grass to the pods. You may also add a small wet sponge to provide the bugs with water. You may add bugs through the large opening on top of the bug podz pieces or by attaching a Capture Core from the Backyard Safari™ Bug Vacuum (not included) to the top of the specially designed pod with the Capture Core port. CARING FOR YOUR BUG PODZ Before cleaning you Bug Podz, return all bugs to the outdoors. All Bug Podz pieces may be washed in soap and water and air-dried. CAUTION: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
