Poly Prep Summer partners with DiMino Bus Service, Inc. to provide a reliable bus transportation option to campers. A family-run business, DiMino prioritizes service, comfort, and safety for its riders. Fees for bus transportation are charged in addition to camp tuition. All prices and options are outlined below. To reserve a spot on the bus for your child, please submit a completed Bus Transportation Request Form along with payment, directly to DiMino Bus Service, Inc. Bus forms are available to download at www.polyprep.org/summer2016. Note: We may add additional bus stops if there is sufficient camper interest. We do not offer bus service for students who are solely registered for Summer Academics.
Deadlines June camps: Bus Transportation Request Form must be received by June 1. August camps: Bus Transportation Request Form must be received by August 1. Summer Experience and Performing Arts camps: Bus Transportation Request Form must be received by June 1. Our Safety Guidelines All vans are equipped with two-way radios and seatbelts. Each van is inspected by the New York City Department of Transportation. All bus drivers are approved by the New York City Board of Education. If your child will be absent from camp for any period of time, please provide the driver, as well as the camp, with a note detailing the days your child will not need service. If it is an unexpected absence, please call dispatch as early as possible with your driver’s name and your child’s name. The dispatcher will then alert the driver. The DiMino Staff will be working on the bus routes through the Wednesday before the beginning of camp. This allows the staff to make any last minute adjustments due to construction and minimize the amount of time your child will be on the bus. You will receive a phone call or email from the DiMino Staff on the Wednesday or Thursday before camp begins with full details of your child’s transportation to and from camp.
Bus Service for: Summer Experience and Performing Arts Camps Option 1: Door-to-Door Service Available in Lower Manhattan below Canal Street and most parts of Brooklyn. $825 per camper (Manhattan) $775 per camper (Brooklyn) Option 2: Designated Stop Service Available only in certain parts of Brooklyn $675 per camper Anticipated stops: • Court and Pacific Streets • Hicks and Montague Streets • Washington and Front Streets • Clark and Hicks Streets • 6th Avenue (from Prospect Avenue to Union Street) • Prospect Park West (from Union Street to Prospect Avenue) • Henry Street * (from Joralemon Street to 4th Place) *under consideration

Note: There is no bus service available to Specialty Campers during the week of August 8.
