SOWING AND GROWING

Sow the seed thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed free soil where the plants are to flower 13mm (½") deep. Germination normally takes 10-15 days. As the seedlings develop, thin them in stages to achieve a final spacing of 23-30cm (9-12"), using the spare plants to fill any gaps. For early flowering the following year, sow direct in September where the plants are to flower.

HELPFUL HINT Colour companion – try growing with blue Lobelia. Try the edible petals in summer salads. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
