How to put on your Calf Compression Sleeves

1 Introduction The calf sleeves are a technical garment & require care whilst putting on. To ensure that the calf sleeves retain its properties as long as possible put the calf sleeves on as smoothly as possible. The Modetro Sports Calf Compression Sleeves have been designed to provide support to your muscles and also provide graduated compression. The calf sleeves are tapered being narrower at the base (to ensure optimum fit around your ankles), The calf sleeves initially may look small on appearance but are not actually. They are a snug fit to ensure that the compression is right & they don't become loose or roll down the ankles whilst working out. The sleeves become a bit easier to put on after a few days of use.

2 Bunching Up Method The calf compression sleeves have a graduated (tapered) fit means the foot cannot be forced through the leg. Fitting this garment is like a stocking - start at the toes and work progressively up the leg. To do this bundle the top of the calf sleeves progressively from the top (similar to how we bunch up the sock mouth before wearing). Next pull the sleeves over the toes and foot. Slide over the heel until bottom of the calf sleeves is above ankle. Pull the top of the calf sleeves (which were bunched up) progressively upward in a series of gentle pulls until the sleeve is correctly positioned. The bottom of the tight may finish above the ankle, closer to the base of the calf muscle and the top of the sleeve will be at just below the knee.

3 The "Inside Out" technique Some people find it easier to put the calf sleeves on using the "inside out" technique. In this method, simply turn your calf sleeves inside out. Then stretch the mouth of the narrower end (tapered end) wide with your fingers Add a 'BACKGROUND' & slip them over your toes, through your feet till they are at the base of your ankles. to this page. Next stretch the mouth of the wider end and pull them over your toes, through your feet, over your ankles to the top of your calves. This will get the sleeves on.
