What’s Happening? Citymark Student Ministries is joining hundreds of other students from several Houston/Dallas area churches at Pineywoods Camp in Woodlake Texas for an awesome week of Summer Camp, including incredible recreational opportunities, small groups, vibrant speaking, and the perfect mix of excitement and personal growth. Who’s Invited? Citymark Students and Friends who have completed 6th-12th grades. When? July 17th through 21st. Final transportation details and times will be given to parents of students who submit their registration form. Where At? Pineywoods Camp, PO Box 133, 6272 E US HWY 287, Woodlake, TX 75865 Camp Theme: “Consumed” – Psalm 119:17-24 Transportation: Transportation will be provided to and from camp. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up on the specified dates from Citymark. Cost: •
The Total Camp Cost is $350 for persons registered on or before the Registration Deadline (June 15th) Camp cost includes transportation to and from camp, t-shirt.

If your student is unable to attend camp for any reason, and we are not able to fill that spot the payment for camp will be non-refundable.

We will accept Cash or Check. If you submit cash, please include the name of the student that the payment is for. If you submit a check, please include on the memo line Camp – Student Name. Checks are written out to Citymark Church.

Key Dates: To attend this camp, you must complete the following: •
Reserve Your Spot: As soon as possible! Deposit of $50.00 and Registration Form completed. There are only 45 camper spots, and registration is first come first serve.

Consent and Medical Release Forms: Available May 19th. Access information will be provided to all parents who have filled out a registration form for their student.

Registration Deadline: June 15th: $300.00 Payment (Plus the $50 Deposit) and all forms completed (registration, consent and medical release).

Camp forms Deadline: June 29th. The camp will no longer accept registrations or forms after this date.
Itinerary Info: Monday, July 17th Arrive at Citymark Church- 9:30AM Depart Citymark Church- No Later than 10:00AM Friday, July 21st Depart Pineywoods Camp- 12:00PM Pick up from Citymark Church- 2:30PM Lodging: • Pineywoods makes all lodging assignments based on numbers and cannot take requests for specific assignments. • All students and leaders are housed in dorm-style accommodations and grouped together by church and gender. Paperwork: Every registered individual/camper must submit a complete and accurate Medical Release. Where can I find the Medical Release? The Medical Release is submitted online for each person coming to camp. The group leader will provide parents of minor students, students 18 & older, and sponsors with the password to access the Medical Release when it becomes available. Medical Releases must be submitted by the Forms/ Paperwork Deadline two weeks prior to camp. Students that arrive at camp without a Medical Release on record cannot attend camp and will be required to return home immediately at the parent’s expense.
Supervision: By law all persons 18 and older attending retreats or summer camps lasting three or more nights must do the following in addition to submitting a complete Medical Form/Release: (1) Submit printed copies of results from national criminal and national sex offender background checks for the current year. (2) Complete a state-approved training and examination program on sexual abuse and child molestation and submit a valid certificate of completion. (3) Provide a character and integrity reference. Pineywoods Camp Cell Phone Policy: • Students are not allowed to possess cell phones at camp. “Possess” means carry on their person, keep in their luggage, or otherwise have access to without the supervision of a sponsor. • Students are discouraged from bringing phones altogether. • If students must bring their phone, their phone will be kept secure by a leader. • Students are allowed to use their phone traveling to camp, home from camp, or under the strictest adult supervision for a very limited amount of time while at camp.

Special Food Needs / Allergy Information: • Meals at Pineywoods are served cafeteria-style in the Dining Hall. Students may accept or decline any portion of the meal. In general, two or three hot food items are served every meal as well as other self-serve options. • From Pineywoods: “The Pineywoods kitchen uses nuts, products containing wheat or gluten, eggs, dairy products, and other ingredients that contain allergens. We understand that this can be a medical issue, therefore we will post the menu for each camp online (pineywoodscamp.com) no later than two business days prior to the first day of camp for review and consideration by concerned campers/parents. A camper with a food allergy that medically necessitates a special diet is more than welcome to bring his/her own PREPARED food to camp if, after reviewing the menu, it is determined that he/she cannot eat some or all of the meals provided. Camp Staff will be glad to assist with storage and re-heating of prepared food but cannot prepare special meals for campers during their stay.” Medication Guidelines: • ALL medication (prescription, non-prescription, vitamins, supplements, etc.) must be checked in with the Camp Medic upon arrival at camp. • All medication must be stored securely and dispensed from the First Aid Station. • Medication is not allowed in the dorms. • EpiPens must be turned in to the Camp Medic. The Camp Medic must administer an injection if deemed necessary. • A rescue inhaler must be checked in with the Camp Medic unless the camper’s doctor requires him/her to keep it on his/her person at all times. The camper is responsible for his/ her own rescue inhaler and may only give it to his/her sponsor to hold (not a fellow student camper). • Medical Forms/Releases must accurately reflect the medication(s) turned in at camp. Medication Preparation: • Prescription medication must be in the original container with the prescription label showing the correct dosage. • Non-prescription medication, including but not limited to over-the-counter medications, vitamins, supplements, etc., must be in the original container. • Each camper should put his/her medication(s) in a Ziploc bag with his/her name and church name on it. • Do not bring pill boxes/organizers to camp.
