ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER – Pastoral & Aspirations (Leadership pay scale: L10-14) This is an exciting opportunity to join a popular and successful 11-18 school of over 1000 students. We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher from January 2015. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher with considerable experience in school leadership at middle and/or senior level. You will be part of a dynamic Leadership Team which has been recognised by our recent Ofsted inspection as driving forward the school’s continuing improvement. The post will involve leading: A team of 14 pastoral staff; All aspects of behaviour, safeguarding, attendance and guidance; The school’s ethos on respect, inclusion and aspirations. We are a Stonewall Schools Champion and a Diana anti-bullying award holder. You should have a commitment to a vision of schools where every individual is valued for what they can contribute to the community as a whole, and where the flourishing of each individual is your driving force and philosophy.
