FAQ….. Answered

tte Q. How many spots are available on the Junior Varsity (JV) & Varsity Team? There are not a set number of spots for JV or Varsity. Team size has changed from year to year and is determined by selecting the best possible team members each year. A physical tryout & interview is conducted at tryouts to determine if the candidate will be a good fit for that year’s program. “Returning members” are not automatically guaranteed a spot on the following year’s team.

Q.

What do we need to wear for the actual tryout date on Saturday, May 6th? Black Shorts, plain white t-shirt, white socks, and tennis shoes. Hair should be French braided or in a secure low /high bun. No Jewelry or nail polish.

Q.

When will I be notified if I made the team or not? The JV and Varsity squads will be announced following tryouts. This is a closed announcement; if your daughter is selected for the squad you will receive an email with the Chiefette Rules and Regulations and other important information that will need to be filled out and returned to the family potluck/meeting on Wednesday, May 17th. Please read this information before the first practice.
