Cardinal Hoops is well-suited for campers who simply want to play basketball and have a good time, yet is also the perfect place for those who seriously want to strengthen their skills.
Coach John Micheal Santulli brings with him twenty-five years of High School & Collegiate coaching experience to Cardinal Hoops Basketball Camp, overseeing and participating in all daily program activities. Coach Santulli has twice been named Big North Patriot Division Coach of the Year.
No matter your child’s experience level, take comfort in knowing that your youngster will learn basketball skills the right way. With lower baskets and a youth ball for younger players, campers won’t feel intimidated playing at the same standards as the pros. For those campers getting ready for their high school and travel teams, Cardinal Hoops will offer a fun yet competitive program, providing a serious player with all the fundamental skills and drills necessary to compete at his highest level.
In recent years the Westwood Cardinals have become one of the most respected programs in Bergen County boys basketball. The Cardinals earned the #1 seed in North I Group 2 in both the 2013 and 2014 seasons, advancing all the the way to the State Sectional Finals in both seasons. The Cardinals also consistently qualify for the Bergen County Jamboree.
The staff at Cardinal Hoops Basketball Camp has a longstanding tradition of training and developing players. Many former campers have gone on to achieve basketball scholarships to college, and some have even played professionally.
The Cardinal Hoops coaches are professional educators who bring knowledge, skills and fun to the program. Cardinal Hoops’ actively involved staff makes sure that your child develops skills while having fun in comfortable and friendly surroundings. The coaching staff consists of college and high school coaches. College and high school players serve as counselors.

Cardinal Hoops Basketball Camp is located at Westwood Regional High School, 701 Ridgewood Road, Washington Township, New Jersey.
Cardinal Hoops offers campers more than just practical experience and play. Campers also enjoy guest appearances by well-respected local high school and college coaches.
LUNCH, SNACKS & T-SHIRTS
Campers are assigned to teams according to age and basketball ability. Campers look forward to:
Campers must bring their own lunch and should pack it in a cooler bag. A camp bank is provided so that campers may deposit money for purchases at the camp store. Those attending the Cardinal Hoops Camp will also receive a special camp T-shirt, camp gift and player evaluation.
