WHAT IS THE CHILDREN’S EQUIPPING CENTER? Dear Parents, The three vital functions of the Children’s Equipping Center are biblical literacy, ministry training/leadership development, and outreach. To these ends, we have set in place values, priorities, and programs to pass on the biblical truths that are foundational to sustaining night-and-day prayer, proclaiming the ministry of Jesus, and demonstrating the work of the Holy Spirit. Our desire is to see children in Kansas City and all over the earth deeply rooted and grounded in the Word of God. May the Lord bless you and your family in this upcoming season. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD We will be partnering with Franklin Graham as a distribution center for Operation Christmas Child, which distributes Christmas gifts to thousands of children located in very remote places throughout the nations. These gifts have delighted over 135 million children and continue to open doors for the gospel. Here is how you can participate: •
Pick up an empty shoebox and instructions at our table during EGS and FCF services.

Return the filled shoebox to our table during EGS and FCF services.
•
We will be collecting shoeboxes during National Collection Week, November 14–21, at the Camp and Training Center.

CHILDREN AT ONETHING 2016 We provide a full Children’s Equipping Center for children ages 5–12 at Onething 2016. Children come with their families from around the world and are taught the same message as the adults, but at an age-appropriate level. We teach children powerful truths from the Word of God—about the love of God, knowing Jesus, who they are in God, ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit, worship and prayer, and much more. CEC Holiday Schedule • Encounter God Service is canceled on Friday, November 25. • Malachi 4:6 Family Prayer Meetings end on December 16 and resume on February 1, 2017. • There will be no CEC classes on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Children are invited to join their families for these Sunday FCF services. • On Christmas Day, the Children’s Equipping Center will only be available for ages 1–6.
