WorldsConnect @yourlibrary National Library Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of libraries, librarians, and library workers in schools, campuses, and communities nationwide - and the perfect time to discover how worlds connect @ your library. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.
Come and learn about all the things that you can do at the library. Meet our staff, register for door prizes from local businesses, and even have a little snack. Meet our partners – Literacy Volunteers of America, Home Schooling Group, and the Florida Extension Services.
