Set the speed control to full speed for normal drilling. Softer paper or puckering the cover sheet may require the speed control to be turned down. Drilling at too slow of a speed could cause the drill bit to burn or overheat.
2.
Keep Drill bits sharp or they will burn or tear the hole out to the edge of the paper.
3.
Adjust the drilling depth so the drill just drills through the bottom sheet. Drilling too deep into the wood block will dull the bit and flair the end making it more difficult to re-sharpen.
