CHANGES TO LAX GREEN LINE BUSES • New Procedures for Boarding the Green Line Bus • Effective December 1, 2013 The Green Line Bus (G-Bus) provides service between the Metro Rail Green Line Aviation Station and LAX. It was originally designed for use by passengers of the Metro Rail Green Line to connect to LAX.
Effective Sunday, December 1, 2013, proof of Metro Rail ridership via a valid TAP card will be required to board the G-Bus. This new measure will be instituted in an effort to maintain the quality of life in our surrounding communities. Airport employees using street parking and boarding the G-Bus to connect to LAX can use assigned LAX employee parking lots/facilities or make arrangements for alternative transportation. For information about assigned LAX employee parking and parking passes, please contact your employer or the LAX Parking Office listed below.
WHAT TO EXPECT AS OF DECEMBER 1, 2013 • LAX field supervisors will check for valid TAP cards before riders board the free G-Bus. • TAP cards must indicate recent use (within two hours) from any Metro Rail Green Line station other than Aviation Station.
