REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN Deadline is 5/3/17 Have some fun and support your Chapter
We need our members to step up to the tee and participate so we can send our best golfers in each category to the regionals to represent SWFL. I have heard—(I’m Not good enough)—that’s bull. You are as good as everyone else in your flight as your handicaps are similar. (I get too nervous)—So does everyone else. (I will be back up North during regionals)—You can come back or the next in line in your flight gets to go, and they will love you. Any other reasons not to play, give me a call. Plus: Bragging rights are always on the line with your friends. Tournament fee is $95.00 per player including golf, championship entry fee and awards luncheon. The Championship registration will be processed through Headquarters (not our 123 sign up) You get to Pick either stroke or scramble play. One is individual play and one team. You decide. Practice rounds at Spring Run will be available after May 1 st at the going rate. In order to be eligible to play, you need to have posted 2 rounds since Jan. 1. If you haven’t then get busy.
STROKE PLAY COMPETITION Stroke play competitors play in one of five flights based upon their USGA Handicap Index. Championship flight First Flight Second Flight
0.0-12.0 12.1-19.0 19.1-25.0
Third Flight Fourth flight
25.1-32.0 32.1-40.4
You play against those in your handicap range with the Chapters Champion determined from the Championship Flight At registration, you may also sign up for the Senior Award (ages 55-69) or the Super Senior Award (70 and above) which will be awarded to the lowest gross senior or super senior in each stroke category. TEAM SCRAMBLE COMPETITION Scramble teams consist of four (4) players. The team “handicap factor” is established based on the USGA Handicap Index of all four players. You must build your own team, Keeping your factor no more than +2 and no less than -5. Factors 12.0 or less 12.1-19.0 19.1-25.0 25.1-32.0 32.1 or higher

1) Our 18-hole local qualifying round held on May 21st, at Spring Run Registration deadline 5/3/17 ( no exceptions can be made ) 2) Sectionals Semi-Finals Event on June 24th @ Rockledge Country Club, Rockledge Fl. ( just north of Melbourne ) Country Club in Rockledge, 3) Championship FINALS October 6th & 7th at Hot Springs Village Arkansas
