Keynote: Microsoft Excel is so much more than mathematical formulas. So often people say they don’t use Excel because they are not numbers people. Ok, so let’s minimize the emphasis of the mathematical functions and focus more on some other features of Excel. Be more productive by customizing Excel for ‘you’; organize, track, summarize and report data using PivotTables; and using Conditional Formatting. Also, many quick bitesized features will be demonstrated. Windows 8 and Excel 2013 will be used for the presentation. In addition, throughout the session, many examples of keyboard/mouse shortcuts will be used. Handouts and a summary of some great keyboard/mouse shortcuts will be offered. Topics presented will include:  Customize Status bar; Key Tips; PivotTables – what they are for, how to prepare your data, how to generate a PivotTable from the data; Conditional Formatting;  Quick bite-size features: AutoCalculate; Group sheets to create structure; Go To Special  Keyboard/mouse shortcuts  Q&A 1 Recertification Point Awarded Carol D.
