Zips Alumni, Supporters, and Friends, On behalf of The University of Akron men’s soccer program, I invite you to our third annual Cigar & Cognac Experience on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Prime 93. This event will take place as we wrap up our final exhibition games and begin our campaign to return to the NCAA tournament. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. that evening, attendees will enjoy three cigar and drink pairings alongside a tasty food selection for $100 per guest. My coaching staff and I will also be in attendance and are excited about the opportunity to meet new supporters and catch up with longtime followers. Staying at the pinnacle of college soccer takes great players, coaches, support staff, loyal alumni, and great fans--all of which we have! To remain at the top of our conference and a national contender, we need to continue raising the financial support that enables us to recruit the best student-athletes, schedule games against the country’s premier teams, play in world-class facilities, and represent Akron with class and pride.
