ISSUE DATE: February 10, 2012 Changes and Clarifications: 1.
Change Item 6.1: The product specified is manufactured by Hydranautics. Alternate materials may be submitted for consideration. All alternate products & testing requirements outlined in 6.2 below must be submitted for consideration no later than JANUARY 14, 2012 February 14, 2012 @ 3:00 P.M. Once alternate products are considered and addendum will be issued with a Qualified Product List.

Change Item 6.2.7: The ROMS shall provide to the City of Fort Myers computer projections prior to shipment for the system array of trains 5 & 6 as the first stage and train 11 as stage 2. This shall be based on the raw water analysis as noted in Table 1, pH of , permeate flow of gpm, system recovery of % and feed temperature of oF. Projections shall be done for membrane ages of 0, 1 and 3 years. The projections shall allow for a salt passage increase of 10% per year and a flux decline of 7% per year. The projections shall also show the anticipated energy consumption based on a power cost of $0.633 per Kwh $0.0633 per kwh assuming 24 hour per day operation.

The raw water quality data doesn’t provide the values we need to run projections (e.g. inorganic components such as Ca, Mg, Na, Ba, Sr, HCO3, SO4, Cl, F, NO3, SiO2).

No. We do not need pre-filters.

What is the budget for this project?
Answer:
The budget for this project ranges from $450,000 - $500,000. Note that portions of the budget provided may be set aside for “other” expense such as installation & project oversight.
