Main Color fabric- for halter top 1 yard, skirt ¾ yard = 1 ¾ yard Accent Fabric- skirt ruffle- 5/8 yard, waistband and ties ¾ yard= 1 3/8 Matching thread (there will be top-stitching) Sewing Tools: Sewing pins Seam ripper Fabric scissors Measuring tape Fabric marking pencil or chalk Seam gage Sewing machine needle appropriate for your fabric Topstitching needle Turning tool Sewing machine with pedal and necessary tools for sewing Serger is optional You can use a zig-zag stitch on regular machine Pattern Drafting Tools: Highlighter Pencil Eraser Clear gridded ruler Invisible tape Pattern tracing paper Paper scissors
Classroom Etiquette 1. Please come prepared and arrive on time for your class 2. Please turn your cell phones to silent or vibrate and if you must answer or make a call during class, please step outside. 3. Please keep all side conversations and chit chat to a minimum.
4. If you have a question in regards to the class, please ask the instructor and not your neighbor as your neighbor may not have the correct answer. 5. All beverages must be in a container with a lid
