Clothing Guidelines We fully dress the deceased to preserve their dignity and to provide the best “memory picture” possible for you and your family. As a general rule, the clothing is not returned to the family*, however, jewelry and other personal items that are placed on the deceased or display in the casket can either be returned to the family or left with the deceased. You may bring the clothing with you to the arrangement conference or bring it to the funeral home later. However, we do prefer to have the clothing by 12 noon at least one day prior to the first viewing / visitation. If you have any questions, please call us at: North East Chapel – 2201 Dr. ML King Street North, St. Petersburg - 727-822-2059 Tyrone Chapel – 7820 - 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg – 727-347-6636 Clothing for the deceased should include:  Long sleeves and a high neckline is recommended  Undergarments – including undergarments, socks, bra, stockings, etc.  Shoes – optional  Glasses, a wig or hairpiece (if normally worn)  Personal Items – jewelry, rosary or any other item to be placed in casket†  Recent Photograph – Our Care Specialists will use the photo in preparing the deceased for viewing.
