Clubs Fore Kids
We are excited to announce a fantastic new initiative, in partnership with Impact Foundation and the Fargo Park District, to help underprivileged children learn and participate in the game of golf. “Clubs Fore Kids” has been created to supply children with clubs, instruction, and access to practice, play, and competition opportunities. The Fargo Park District has graciously accepted the responsibility of distributing new clubs and bags to 100 kids and will host ongoing golf clinics this summer. These kids will be given season passes to El Zagal, Prairiewood, and Osgood Golf Courses! They will also have access to practice facilities at Osgood, Rose Creek, Edgewood, Prairiewood, and El Zagal, along with paid entries to the F-M Junior Tour. We plan to expand this program to include Moorhead kids and courses in the near future. We are also spearheading a used club recondition and distribution program to expand our impact. It costs about $250 to sponsor a child with a new set of clubs and a pass (greatly discounted) for access to El Zagal, Prairiewood, and Osgood.
