CMH Steep Skiing Weeks The CMH Steep Skiing weeks are designed for skiers and snowboarders looking for a challenge on seriously steep terrain. We have planned these trips for late April, when snow conditions are the most stable and the days are longer, allowing us the opportunities and flexibility to ski more challenging terrain. You must be a strong, confident skier or rider – comfortable on double black diamond runs at resorts like Whistler and Jackson Hole, and able to cope with tighter terrain (i.e. couloirs). Seeking the most challenging terrain available on any given day, we offer expert coaching, finding lines that allow you to develop your skills without compromising your safety. Hosted by Dave Gauley, the Assistant Manager of Cariboo Lodge and a world-renowned master of the steeps (voted by Powder Magazine as one of the 50 Best Skiers in the World!), these trips are limited to 9 skiers/riders (split into 2 groups), with 3 guides and a Bell 407 helicopter. Please note: If you overrate your ability and/or fitness level we reserve the right to move you to a more appropriate group.

These trips include: • From 8,850 to 43,570 guaranteed vertical metres (43,000 to 142,860 vertical feet) (Heli-Skiing or Heli-Boarding). • All meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. • All lodge accommodations and use of lodge facilities such as saunas, whirlpools, etc. • Ground transportation to the lodge from Calgary or Banff, AB and return. • Services of ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides), and/or IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guides Association) guides, and guides recognized by HeliCat Canada. • Use of specially designed Heli-Skis and poles. Snowboarders must bring their own equipment. • Training in and use of avalanche transceivers.
