Mission and Priorities Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program is dedicated to protecting and restoring the health and productivity of the bays and estuaries in the Texas Coastal Bend, while supporting continued economic growth and public use of the bays.

Matagorda Island Restoration: Completed • 2,500 acre hydrologic/marsh restoration • $1 million million, multi-year multi year effort
