Coatesville Little League By-Laws These by-laws are designed to encourage every players development, encourage safety, and to encourage players are ready to play at the next league level. There are bylaws for each level (tball, Minor C, Minor B, Minor A, Majors and 50/70) In order to ensure we maintain a positive environment we have instilled the following rules. Every team is required to provide Snack bar coverage during games. If a team fails to provide coverage, they could forfeit their game. We have instilled a uniform requirement for all coaches. Coaches need to wear a Polo shirt, League provided Shirt or a Jersey matching the team they are coaching. No Tank tops, cut-off shorts, or bandanas are allowed. Any coach not adhering to this policy will be asked to leave the complex. Only coaches and assistant coaches with proper clearances will be allowed in dugouts and on field during games and practices. All coaches will be required to wear official league ID at all league events when acting in a capacity as a coach or league volunteer.

Coatesville T-Ball By-Laws 1) All players will start off hitting off Tee. 2) Soft (Safety balls) must be used no exceptions!! 3) Coaches need to teach base running or turning towards second a. Players need to know to overrun first base 4) All players will advance to next base 5) Every player will get a turn to bat every inning 6) Outs don’t count, but coaches need to encourage and celebrate outs as they occur 7) Games will only be 3 innings played or an hour in length. 8) Half way through season players need to advance to hitting live pitching a. Coatesville Minor B Division By-laws No inning start after 1 hour 45 minutes 5 runs an inning limit. When team is leading by 15 or more points the game will end after 4 innings. Losing team will have unlimited runs in the 4th inning. If losing team scores 5 or more runs in the 4th inning they can advance to 5th inning. If the losing team doesn’t score any runs the game will end in 4 innings. When a team is leading by 10 or more points in 5th inning game will end after 5 innings. 1. Last inning unlimited runs 2. One advance on overthrows 3. Runner must stop running when cutoff man or infielder has possession of ball. If runner is between bases they can advance to next base and must stop. If fielder throws ball in the direction of the runner and fielder misses the ball, the runner can advance to next base. 4. Pass balls are allowed. If a runner hits ball and while proceeding to base and ball goes past the fielder playing the base, the runner can advance to next base and will not count as a steal. Can advance on pass balls only twice an inning 5. Base runner may run first to third, second to home. Batter runner may run up to second base. 6.
If baserunner over runs 2nd or 3rd and are tagged by fielder, they are out.

13. Start of season a. First 3 innings machine pitch. The rest of game player pitch. If 3 batters are walked in an inning by player pitcher, coach will pitch the rest of that inning. 14. Coach must pitch from rubber or in contact with front of mound. 15. After May 7th a. Player pitch entire game. If 3 batters are walked in an inning any batter that obtains 4 balls after that the coach will come in and pitch until that batter is retired(put out in the field or struck out)or reaches base. Tee – Ball Practice Schedules
Practice is all about having fun with a routine that includes lots of reps. Your practice skills and drills should not change up too much as a team, but you must coach up players on their individual skills. Each practice must be productive. Players and parents feed off your energy.
Practice 1 1.
Warmup a. Run bases in proper direction (1 time) b. Dynamic Stretch (setup cones for lines and have all coaches help) c. Get gloves and gather in circle around Pitcher's Mound d. Talk about baseball safety

Base Running a. Run Through 1st Base (Always run through the base and never stop on the base)

Throw a. Setup Cones 5 feet apart for players to stand on b. Teach Players a three step throw i. Players should turn sideways to each other 1. Step 1 – start with hands together and step and break hands so hands form Ushape 2. Step 2 – Step towards player 3. Step 3 – Throw ball at player and have player point to the player they are playing catch with c. Coach demonstrate with each player first before players play catch i. Toss baseball (or something softer like Tennis Balls) to each player and back to coach d. Throw/Catch Break out into groups with coaches e.
