The resort was completed and open for business in January 2009. It serves RV rallies, family reunions, retreats, weddings, receptions, graduation parties, proms, etc. Since opening the resort has experienced a steady growth of 25% to 31% annually. It is listed in the top 100 Good Sam Resorts in the nation. The resort rests on 20 acres and has an additional 19 acres for expansion. The resort is ideally located on Hwy 281 just ½ mile north of Interstate 20 at Exit 386. The intersection has a very high traffic count. US Hwy 281 runs north/south from the Canadian border all the way to Mexico. Interstate 20 is one of the primary east/west routes through Texas and goes all the way to South Carolina. Not far from the resort are the towns of Mineral Wells, Weatherford, Granbury, and Stephenville. The area is a main tourist destination for people all over North Texas. The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with over six million residents is less than hour’s drive away. They have everything that you would expect from a premier RV resort. There is a playground for kids, a large dog run, and two catch and release fishing ponds. No need for a fishing license! There is a game room, a workout room, swimming pool, and a hot tub. The RV office, retail store, and ice cream shop are located at the entrance of the resort. Coffee Creek has two clubhouses that are large enough to serve your rally or family reunion with plenty of room. Each clubhouse is fully equipped with tables, chairs, and a kitchen with everything that you will need. The larger club house seats 110 and the smaller seats 75.
