COLGATE ATHLETICS TAILGATING POLICY
Andy Kerr Stadium/Maroon Council parking lot In order to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all fans and student-athletes, the Colgate University Department of Athletics, has instituted the following guidelines for tailgating at Andy Kerr Stadium.
During home football games, the Maroon Council parking lot will open three hours prior to game time and close 5 minutes prior to the start of the game Tailgating will re-open during halftime until 5 minutes into the second half, and will remain open one hour after the completion of the game. No tailgating is permitted in this lot during game-play.

For home men’s lacrosse games, the Maroon Council parking lot will open two hours prior to game time.
•
All visitors wishing to access this lot on home football games, must have a valid Maroon Council Parking pass. This lot operates on a first come, first serve basis.
•
A parking pass entitles you to ONE parking space. We ask for your cooperation in not setting up tables, chairs, coolers, etc. on adjacent parking spaces.
•
Patrons must be 21 years of age or older to drink alcoholic beverages in the designated tailgating areas.
•
Vehicles and/or fans carrying beer kegs and/or excessive quantities of alcohol (wine, spirits and/or beer) will NOT be allowed into the parking lot areas. Excessive quantities of alcohol are defined as more than one 6-pack of beer (or other equivalents) per person of legal age.
•
All parking lot areas are monitored by Colgate Campus Safety and event staff
•
Colgate Campus Safety Officers and any member of the athletic event staff have the right to refuse any fan admission if he/she is intoxicated, and/or acting in ways that are inconsistent with stadium rules.
College St. and Tyler’s Field parking lots (Home Football Games Only) 1.)
