Sewing machine in good working order Open Toe Presser Foot (#20/C/D for Bernina owners) Patchwork ¼” foot (#37/D, 57/D or 97/D for Bernina owners) Klasse Sharp 80/12 needles Havel's Serrated Edge Scissors SoftFuse Appliqué Pressing Sheet Lightweight muslin or voile Fabric following pattern requirements Sewline Fabric Glue Stick Freezer Paper Thread to blend with appliqué fabrics or clear monofilament thread Design Wall
*Basic Sewing Supplies including Seam Ripper, Small scissors to Clip Threads, Glass Head Pins, etc. Prior to class: Starch your fabric with Mary Ellen's Best Press in your favorite scent and then iron, being very careful not to stretch or distort your fabric. Fuse SoftFuse to the wrong side of your appliqué fabrics and cut out flower or other shapes with serrated edge scissors. Class Policies • Class fee is due at time of registration to reserve your space. Phone registrations are accepted with payment by credit card. • A supply list is available upon payment of class fee, please bring all of your supplies and arrive early to allow time to set up your machine and supplies prior to class starting. • In consideration of your fellow students and the instructor, please DO NOT bring children, pets or cell phones to class. • You must cancel five days in advance to receive a refund in the form of a store credit. NO refund will be given for “No Shows” or late cancellations. • We will make every effort to hold all classes as scheduled; however, at times it may be necessary for us to cancel a class. In this case a full refund will be issued in the form of a store credit.
