COLLAGE INTRO--Supply List We love the collage projects--and they are very popular right now--and I have a long list of the ones I want to do!! For this class, we will look at the basic steps to get you started--in a couple of ways. This will be a “lecture/demo” class--no sewing. Please bring one collage pattern (from our store if possible). If you don’t find the one you want please ask and I will try to get it for you as soon as possible. The most popular selections come from Fiberworks and Marvelous Designs. We try to keep a good variety in stock. We will take a look at your pattern and give you suggestions for the best way to start, and how the process works. I will show a couple of different techniques for putting your collage together, along with some of the supplies that you will need. The big part is choosing fabrics--and I will try to help you know what to look for. Your fabric/design choices are totally dependent on your pattern choice and the “mood” you want to create. I will also discuss sizing and finishing. Come and let’s get started on a great project!!
