Collins Content 

The new Collins Content app brings teachers thousands of exceptional and relevant resources for teachers to share with their students. This new app is fully integrated with your school's Show My Homework account which means no new logins.

Accessing and browsing the resources To browse the Collins Content resource bank simply select ‘Community Resources’ from the navigation on the left side of Show My Homework. Then click on the red ‘Collins Content’ tab on the right side of the page.

Use the Search bar at the top of the Community Resources page to filter through the content by subject

The range of books available is then presented which you can filter on the left hand side and once you find a book you would like to explore further just click on the blue arrow below the book.

Now you are can view the list of chapters within the book. Clicking on the title of the chapter will load up a new page where the topics can be added to your resources basket.

Collins Content 

Clicking on any chapter will show you the topics that are contained within the chapter. Any of these topics can be attached to a homework easily by clicking the red check box to the right of the topic. If you would like to preview the content within the topic just click on the blue arrow.

You can review resources ready to be attached to your homework on the left side of the page in your resources basket. Simply click ‘Attach content’ to be taken to the homework details form with the content attached to create a homework based around the resource. Top tip : You can attach multiple resources to one assignment

Collins Content 

When clicking on the blue arrow next to a topic you will be taken into Collins Connect where you can view the resource that the student will have access to when attached to their homework. Here you can preview the content before deciding to attach it to your homework.

FAQs Can I attach resources to more than one homework assignment simultaneously? No, but you can attach more than one resource to one assignment at the same time

Can students view the resource on the open calendar? Collins Content is only available to users when logged in to their account.

Can I start setting a piece of homework and then attach a piece of Collins Content? Yes, you can start setting your assignment as usual and as long as you have entered a title you can follow the attachment steps at the bottom. You will then be taken to Collins Content where you can attach as many resources as you need.
