Tana Mueller has created unique crayon techniques for adding crayon artwork to fabric. We have a growing demand of interested individuals who would like to teach our crayon techniques. We also have a rapidly growing demand for us to teach the techniques. It’s not possible for us to teach each class, attend each show or do every program across the state of Texas. We know there are crayon enthusiasts in every community and guild that are anxious to learn how to teach and begin making profit from doing something they love.

Tana and the Color Team board of officers are working together to create our first “Color Team Instructor” workbook and host our first Crayon Expo. The workbook will be used to help certify our new Color Team Instructors. During the interactive Crayon Expo workshop, you will learn how to:  Read instructions and apply our crayon terminology and our crayon techniques to complete our patterns.  How to teach our technique in your booth at quilt shows  Steps to offer classes in your store or community You will have working knowledge of our step by step process for becoming a certified Color Team instructor.

Our focus is to provide a network of Certified Color Team Members across the country. The Certified Color Team Instructors will be:    

Professionally trained instructors Familiar with our company, products and board of officers Enthusiastic about teaching crayon techniques in classes and workshops that are consistent with those that Tana would teach Able to offer affordable fair market value classes in your community

Teaching our crayon techniques is not limited to only quilters, but it is also a rapid growing form of art. You can offer private crayon parties at your quilt stores, your local churches, schools and much more. Anyone can learn to color on fabric! Are you a crayon enthusiast who loves the smell of a fresh box of crayons? Are you eager to open up a box of crayons and color? Are you self-motivated and want to teach others how to color? If the answer is yes, then do not hesitate to register because the Crayon Expo will have limited seating. Preparing for Classes and Shows Thursday, August 6, 2015 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

$150.00 per person Deadline: March 1, 2015 Fee includes the following: Day One: Breakfast bar, lunch, interactive workshop, instructor workbook, and four project patterns. After Hours: Refreshments Day Two: Breakfast bar, lunch, overview handouts and Color Team Instructor gift bag.

Deposit Required:

$50.00 Deadline: December 1, 2015 Non-refundable deposit is required at registration for each person attending from the represented organization. If your organization is tax exempt, the Texas Sales Tax and Use Permit forms must be completed at registration.

Supplies are required. The complete supply list will be emailed to you after we receive your paid registration deposit. A complete supply kit will be available for an additional $100.00. Certified Color Team Instructors will have the opportunity to purchase our patterns and workbooks for retail sales from us. Information and quantity will be explained at our Crayon Expo.
