Test Comments: We had excellent planting conditions and overall, it was a good year for this location. We received timely rains and our farmer cooperator, Floyd Snoozy, said "it seemed like we never had any stress on the crops all year". At harvest, corn stood straight, still had most of leaves intact, and cobs were filled with kernels to the tip. A slight yield advantage was seen for plots placed on the lower lying ground † See last page for abbreviation descriptions. Test Comments: We had excellent planting conditions and overall, it was a good year for this location. We received timely rains and our farmer cooperator, Floyd Snoozy, said "it seemed like we never had any stress on the crops all year". At harvest, corn stood straight, still had most of leaves intact, and cobs were filled with kernels to the tip. A slight yield advantage was seen for plots placed on the lower lying ground † See last page for abbreviation descriptions.
