A word from Jim

Yockey

In my role as a financial planner, I have found that helping people improve their financial lives is extremely rewarding. Over the years, I’ve seen how comprehensive planning can make a positive difference in a person’s outlook and financial outcome. People who decide to work with a professional gain more understanding and more control of their financial futures. They are generally more optimistic and keep the ups and downs of markets in perspective. In our relationship, I serve as the advisor who provides the support you need to make informed decisions. My leadership skills enable me to bring other professionals to the table— an approach designed to maximize opportunities for reaching your financial goals and accomplishing other important objectives. Helping clients starts with a clear understanding of your values, risk tolerance and goals. In our first meeting, we’ll discuss what’s important to you, your goals and dreams, your attitude toward money, and what’s on the horizon both near and longer term. I’ll ask you to share complete financial information because it’s the only way I can do my best for you. As with your physician, knowing your history and your important desires enables a proper diagnosis. In my experience, people who become clients are open to sharing all their information because they’ve made the assessment that I have both integrity and the expertise to guide them competently on their financial journey. Delegating the financial planning function to me frees my clients to focus more on their business or profession, and spend more time with family, leisure or volunteer activities. My clients are comfortable working with a trusted advisor and willing to take the measures necessary to accomplish their goals—and I strive to earn that trust every day. I hope I’ve given you a sense of who I am and what I’ll try hard to achieve for you. Please take the next step and set up an appointment for a no-obligation consultation so we can begin the work that will lead to a potentially more secure retirement and financial peace of mind. Sincerely,

Jim A. Yockey, Ph.D. Wisdom Financial Management, LLC (502) 425-4000
