Support women's recreational hockey with focus on competitive play and league growth WHAM is centered around the recreational hockey for females. While some women enjoy playing hockey with their male friends and family, some do not. WHAM is a non-profit governed by a volunteer Board and Division Commissioners. The WHAM membership votes on all matters pertaining to WHAM By-laws and is asked to weigh in on rules and WHAM policies.
Elevate and Grow adult recreational hockey, with focus on safety and parity With AHA, women now have choices to play organized hockey year round. They could play in the WHAM, AHA combined and AHA women’s league during the same season. AHA also offers a full summer league for their combined program for those who want structure and accountability, consistent levels and uniform teams, AHA can offer all of those things. For Profit governed by President, Program Director, and Secretary/Treasurer with input from team captains and Tier Administrator to be hired for women's league.
