Matthew 9:18-37

1) Lost People are dead.

Matthew 9:18-19, 23-26; John 3:16-21



- D  on’t forget that your oikos includes the walking dead.

2) Lost People are drained of hope.

Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 5:25-29



- Compassion requires you to offer the hope of the Gospel.

3) Lost people are blind to truth.

Matthew 9:27-31; John 9



- If you know the truth, share it and live it.

4) Lost people are bound by sin.

Matthew 9:32-34



- C  ompassion is not entering into sin, but overcoming it through the power of the Holy Spirit.





Romans 6:16-23

- C  ompassion is having the courage to share the Gospel with your oikos.
