Compliance Graduate Assistant/Intern Murray State University – Murray, Kentucky www.goracers.com Position Summary Graduate Assistant/Intern will assist Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance in ALL areas of a NCAA Division I Compliance Office. This is an opportunity to learn and experience almost every area involved with NCAA Compliance. Primary duties will include:
monitoring playing and practice seasons assisting with transcript evaluations, and initial eligibility projections monitoring and record keeping for recruiting activities creating a coaches educational newsletter assisting in developing new and revising current policies, procedures and forms assisting with monthly rules review sessions for coaches and student athletes researching for rules interpretations event staff responsibilities for Home football contests
Other duties could include:
writing NCAA or OVC waivers mentoring student athletes assisting with National Letter of Intent program supervising study hall other home contest operations
Compensation Graduate Assistant will receive $5,000 toward graduate tuition plus a $500 monthly stipend. Intern will receive a $500 monthly stipend. Term Graduate Assistant: Intern:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, strong organization and communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, attention to detail and desire for a career in intercollegiate athletics. Experience with or exposure to NCAA Compliance is preferred. Graduate Assistant employment subject to admission into a Murray State University graduate school program.
