Comstock Park Beach Tennis Tournament Date: June 20, 2015 Venue: The Score Restaurant & Sports Bar--5301 Northland Drive Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 Court Dimensions 16m by 8m (same as beach volleyball) Beach Tennis Net height 5’ 10’’ Beach Tennis Ball: Low compression “Orange” tennis balls Racket regulations: normal tennis racket Match Play will be best of 3 sets (each set to 6 games with a Coman tie-breaker at 6 all). At 40-40 the next point wins (no-ad scoring). There is only 1 serve per point. A “let” serve is counted as a valid serve and the point counts for the server. More detailed rules may be found at the International Tennis Federation’s website for Beach Tennis: http://itf.uberflip.com/i/411410 Doubles Team Divisions: (1) 12 and under, (2) 18 and under, (3) Men, (4) Women, (5) Mixed Teams will compete in Pool Play and be guaranteed 3 matches with winners competing in a single elimination bracket. Trophy will be given to the winners of each division. Registration fee: $35 per participant per division ($25 for 10 and under). T-shirt included with registration.
