Concrete Road Trip

GET A LOAD OF THIS! Concrete Road Trip Ever wonder what kinds of projects we take on here at Team Elmer’s? Many of you know we offer services in excavation, concrete, asphalt, cranes, and much more. This month, we’re going to take you on a ride around Michigan to three of our concrete bases and share a couple of the projects we’ve been working on. Our first stop is in Oscoda, where we have been supplying concrete for Jerry’s Marina, which is now a 200-slip marina.. Recently, our drivers delivered concrete for an additional heated storage unit. Next, we will make a pit stop at one of the oldest operating inns in Michigan. Have any idea what inn we’re talking about? It’s the Portage Point Inn located in Onekama. They are using our concrete services to help build a new infinity edge pool, hot tub, sun deck and shape deck. Our final stop on this road trip is at the Meceola Central Dispatch. Three mixers from our White Claw Plant headed there hauling 27 yards of concrete to serve as a base for a new 100 foot radio tower in order to increase their reach from county-wide to state-wide, providing a wider range for emergency services to contact dispatch.

Fun Fact: Team Elmer’s has a total of nine concrete plants around Michgan!
