Congratulations! 2015 Governor’s Cup Champions
Aaron Pokorzynski and Denise Burke from Alpena were awarded the 2015 Governor’s Cup trophy after defeating Noel and Vanessa Ceniza in the 8.0 Mixed. This Trophy will be updated with Aaron and Denise’s names and remain at Boyne Mountain’s main Lodge in the dining room trophy case. The trophy is filled with our current and past champion’s names. William Millikan, our Governor from 1969–1983, started the trophy and this tournament. Millikan was born in Traverse City and enjoyed tennis. He is currently 93 years old and will always be know as our longest serving governor for Michigan.
Congrats to Robert Boynton and John Sivek who won 1st place in the 7.0 Men’s.

Congratulations to Stephen Orban, our Boys 14 Singles winner! Jed Turcott came in second with Spencer Fernatt as third.
Jay Stark and Suzette Adams defeated Rob Boynton and Lisa Newhouse in the 7.0 Mixed. Congrats to our other winners not pictured. Sarah Eringaard won in the Girls 18 Division, with Sam Orban at second and Emily Eringaard at third. Suzette Adams and Susan Leatherman were awarded champions in the Women’s 7.0. Thank you to all our 2015 runner-‐ups and participants! Thank you for making this a fun event and we hope to see you back in 2016 for more great tennis!
