“The feeling crossing the finish line when we won was amazing.
I can’t say thanks enough to all the supporters of the Foundation.
“Stanford Cycling would like to thank all the donors to the USA Cycling Development Foundation. Cycling can be expensive, and donors - all of you! enable young cyclists like us to race and train at higher levels than we otherwise could. Thank you for your generosity, and we’ll see you at Collegiate Nationals in 2008!”
We would never be able to live this dream if it weren’t for all of you.” —Sheldon Deeny Sam Jurekovic

“My cycling dream has always been to race my bike in Europe. I attended the 2006 Talent ID camp and knew the camp would be my chance to show USA Cycling what I was capable of. During the camp we participated in specific tests, endurance rides and new experiences on the track. Thanks to that camp and to my results during the camp, I was invited this past spring to travel with the National Team, allowing me to attain my goal of racing in Europe. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to reach your goals and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of the USA Cycling Development Foundation.”

“For me cycling was just for fun. I had no interest in taking it seriously and thought that I was too old to begin a new sport. Things changed when I attended the USA Cycling Women’s Talent ID camp in 2005. That camp changed everything for me and is the sole reason why I am competing in the sport at this level today. In only my second season since then, I have grown tremendously as an athlete, going from a local Cat 3-4 racer to racing with the best in the World in Europe with the USA National Team. I thank each and every one of the people who have donated to the USA Cycling Development Foundation. I could not have done it without your generosity. There are a lot more riders like me out there that you are helping too. Thank you.” - Brooke Miller, winner of the points jersey in the 2007 Novilon International van Drenthe.
