Security Fee Assessment - All Members An annual Security Fee of $100 will be assessed to all members. There is no security fee for Young Singles and Young Families under age 26. Mortgage Assessment - All Members Beginning May 1, 2010 a 3% mortgage assessment is included in annual dues. Building Fund Assessment - All Members • Young Singles over age 30 are required to pay a Building fund of $500 (to be paid out over 5 years at a rate of $100 per year) • Young Families over age 30 & Singles over age 40 are required to pay a Building fund of $1,000 (to be paid out over 5 years at a rate of $200 per year) • Families over age 40 are required to pay a Building fund of $2,000 (to be paid out over 5 years at a rate of $400 per year) • New Members over age 80, are not required to pay a Building Fund. Billing for this fund is done annually. However, members are encouraged to pay off the Building Fund as quickly as possible. Payment Schedule - All Members • All members shall remain in good standing by paying each year's annual dues, security fee, mortgage and building fund assessment. • Prior to High Holy Days, all members are required to pay one half of their annual dues, security fee, mortgage and building fund assessment for the current fiscal year. • The remainder of the annual dues, security fee, mortgage and building fund assessment can be made in monthly installments on the first day of each month to be paid in full by April 30th, the end of our fiscal year. Payment Schedule - New Members • New members joining before High Holy Days will be assessed full dues. • New members joining after High Holy Days will be prorated to the month joining. Confidential financial assistance is available if needed by contacting the COS bookkeeper. You will be asked to complete a Financial Assistance Form.
