[email protected] 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Soup-er Bowl for Super Bowl Sunday
The Christ Lutheran Food Pantry would like to take the opportunity to express our appreciation to the team members of TARGET Store #229 in Cypress for sponsoring a “Soup-er Bowl for Super Bowl Sunday” canned soup food drive competition. Team members at the store decorated collection containers for both the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots. Cans of soup were donated in an effort to predict the winner and possible score of the Super Bowl. We are grateful to the response demonstrated by the generous team members at TARGET Store #229. The donation of the 25 cans of soup will be appreciated by the clients of our non-denominational food pantry distribution. Although the team members did correctly predict the Philadelphia Eagles as the winners of the game, the store’s score was 17 to 8.
