Analysis of Roadway Network • Compare Roadway Networks from Navteq, TeleAtlas and Google – Found to be Nearly Identical in OCCC Vicinity
• Compare Commercially Available Network to The County’s Roadway Network – County Road Network Not Designed for Routing – Roadways Found to be Substantially Different from the County’s – Designed Roadway Network Matching Commercial
Commercial Routing Software • Determine how the Commercial Software Thinks – Ran 30-40 Scenarios from Each Approach Direction
• Analysis Determined Key Factors – Strongly Prefer Right Side Approach – Prefer Major Roads & Higher Speeds – No Strong Preference Against UTurns
• Use These Settings in the Model
