Corney & Barrow, Ropemaker Street, London EC2 Wednesday 3 December 2014 This year the CoreNet UK Chapter Christmas party was organised by the Young Leaders’ Charlotte Gannon and kindly sponsored by Baxter Storey. Once again we had a warm welcome at Corney & Barrow’s City Point wine bar and once again your fearless reporter got lost on her way from the Strategic FM workshop in Winchester House! About 80 members were due to attend, many also making their way over from Mary Louise’s workshop. Old faces and new ones, meeting up to celebrate another successful year for CoreNet’s UK Chapter. We have had Predictions and Resolutions; 1 Big Day; Knowledge Exchanges; 12 free to members events including an architectural walk round the back streets of Westminster with Benedict O’Looney; fascinating site visits and great panel discussions on all the hot topics: workplace, manufacturing and industry, sustainability, strategy and portfolio planning and strategic FM. We had an inaugural Velodrome bike ride at the Olympic Park and a European Summit in Berlin. On top of this we have also been represented at LREF, MIPIM UK and RICS events. Above all we have had great fun networking and exchanging views. Wishing all of you a very Happy Christmas and a very merry New Year. And here’s to an even more successful 2015!
