Results of scientific experiments carried out in the course of “Operation W hite T ow er” are described in T h e Physical R e v i e w for 15 June 1948* The title of the article is “Cosmic-Ray Investigations on Mt. M cK inley” ; and the authors are Thom as D. C arr, M arcel Schein and Ian Barbour, of the D epart ment of Physics, U niversity of Chicago. In closing, they pay special tribute to Bradford W ashburn and H . T. Victoreen.
