STAFF & CAMP GOALS
Each session will utilize a variety of innovative teaching methods, drills, and games to teach the fundamentals of the game of basketball. For the older groups, Free Throw, 3 on 3, and Three Point competitions will be held throughout the week.
Greta Rath, an SHS Alumni, former Michigan Tech University Div. II Collegiate Basketball Player and SHS 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee, has put together a FUN, “Giving Back” Summer Basketball Camp that focuses on the fundamentals of basketball while improving upon skills each player may already have and challenge those who are ready to reach the next level. Rath has been involved with basketball as a player and coach for over 20+ years and has a lot to share. She has partnered with the SHS Boys and Girls Basketball teams to help mentor your player at camp. It is her hope that you leave camp having learned at least one new skill for next season or for the littlest & newest of players to basketball, to make this summer basketball camp an enjoyable, fun experience that you come back next year or maybe even sign up to play!
Session I - Girls Entering 7th – 9th & Boys Entering 7th – 8th Grade Cost: $50

RELEASE OF LIABILITY I, the undersigned, hereby hold the Giving Back Summer Basketball Camp Staff harmless from liability for any and all medical and/or accident expenses which my minor child may incur during his/her involvement in the Giving Back Summer Basketball camp at the Superior Middle School.
