School Attendance is IMPORTANT! Being in school all day, every day, helps your child get the most out of their education. Picking your child up even just 5 minutes early or dropping them off late everyday causes them to lose out on 14 days of school! *There is NO substitute for being in class. Students need to be present to hear teachers explain concepts, to participate in group projects and class discussions, and to ask questions. *Schedule doctor, dentist, and orthodontist appointments for before or after school hours whenever possible. If you can’t, try to arrange them around lunch time. *It will be easier for your child to get up on time for school if he/she has had a good night’s sleep. Set a reasonable bedtime, and make sure electronic devices are put away so he/she isn’t tempted to stay awake to play games or correspond with friends.

Check out the new Crest Ridge School District website at www.crestridge.org. There is also a new app for phones that is up and running. This will help you stay informed of all the great things going on at CR.
REMINDER!!! When dropping your kids off in the mornings, please drop them off at the north doors. Students walking in front of buses is very unsafe. If you make a transportation change, please send a note, call the school, or email [email protected] BY 2:30 PM, to let us know. Thank you! Archery!!!!! The After School Program will start the Archery club for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students on Wednesday, September 27. The club will end at 5:00 pm each week. Enrollments forms and Parent Handbook for After School Care are in the Elementary office. There will be a sign up sheet for Archery in the Elementary office during After School Care hours.
