COMMITTED TO SECURITY PROGRAMME
Mark Usage Guidelines
Introduction
The Committed to Security Programme is an initiative by the Digital Production Partnership (DPP) to help suppliers in the media industry demonstrate commitment to cybersecurity best practice. By completing one, or both, of the Broadcast or Production checklists suppliers can demonstrate their commitment to continually maintaining and improving their cybersecurity practices. On completion of the relevant checklist, suppliers will be awarded either or both of the Committed to Security Broadcast or Committed to Security Production marks by the DPP. Usage of the marks is governed by the Committed to Security Programme Terms and Conditions. Guidelines for the appearance and usage of the marks are outlined in this document.

The Mark The artwork for the Committed to Security Broadcast and Committed to Security Production marks must be used as supplied by the DPP.
A. The base mark
B. Committed to Security: Production
C. Committed to Security: Broadcast
The base component is the shield which signifies protection and security. This is followed by the TRUST watermark that appears within the upper portion of the shield indicating that the aim of the Committed to Security Programme is to build trust in the media supply chain. Overlaid on the TRUST watermark is the type COMMITTED TO SECURITY that demonstrates that the mark holder is committed to ensuring cybersecurity best practice and to regularly reviewing and maintaining that practice. Beneath this type is the DPP name which is a regsitered trademark of the DPP. Banners then indicate that the mark holder has either completed the Committed to Security Broadcast or Committed to Security Production Checklist. The completion of the checklist is signified by the checkmark placed in the ball on the top of the shield. These components should never appear separately. However, exceptions to this rule may be approved by the DPP.

Using the Mark All three variations of the mark are provided in a variety of formats for different uses. Files are provided for use on screen (RGB) and in print (CMYK). See the Files Reference on page 7 for more detail.
Colour version
Monochrome versions
Small version
For use in full colour applications on screen and in print. The mark includes a white background so that it can be placed on light or dark backgrounds. A monochrome mark can also be used in these environments if the standard mark clashes with your company branding.
Provided in black and white variations, these versions are intended for use in print when no colour is available. The black version includes a white background to isolate the mark on a dark background. The white version is transparent and must only be used on dark backgrounds.
A simplified version of the mark is provided in each colour way for use at sizes below 21 mm (in height) in print or 100 pixels on screen. Please note that even the small version cannot be used below the minimum sizes detailed on page 5.
VERSION 1.0 OCTOBER 2017
The small version must not be displayed larger than 21 mm/100 pixels in height.

Mark Usage Guidelines
Size and Spacing Requirements To ensure that the mark is clear, we recommend the following guidelines for size and positioning.
Minimum size The text on the mark must always be legible and clear. For that reason, it is recommended that the mark be used at the following minimum sizes:
at least 21 mm/ 100 pixels
at least 15 mm/ 70 pixels
In Print: 15 mm high Between 15 and 21 mm in height, use the Small version of the mark On Screen: 70 pixels high Between 70 and 100 pixels in height, use the Small version of the mark
Clear Space As the mark is designed to work alongside company logos, it can be positioned in close proximity to other graphics on any one side. In these cases, the mark should have clear space on the remaining three sides equal to at least the diameter of the checkmark circle at the top of the shield. When the mark is not next to another brand, all sides of the mark should have clear space equal to the diameter of the checkmark circle.
