Current Credit Trends Presented by The Central Indiana Chapter of RMA Sponsored By Premier Capital Corporation William F. Githens RMA National President and CEO Mr. Githens will present a program on Current Credit Trends, addressing Risk Identification, Risk Measurement, Risk Mitigation, and Risk Evaluation. He will also give an overview of the Risk Management Association and what it has to offer members and share his insight on lessons learned from the financial crisis. Bill Githens joined RMA in 1997 and appointed President and CEO in January 2010. Mr. Githens has been responsible for establishing and organizing the member relations functions to serve RMA’s members, including community banks, large banks, global banks, and the chapter network. Githens also directed enterprise risk management and credit risk initiatives and activities for the association. He is actively involved with the regulatory agencies and interacts frequently with chief risk officers and other risk professionals in the financial services industry. Prior to joining RMA, Mr. Githens held various leadership roles in financial services including but not limited too Visa USA, SynapQuest Inc, and CoreStates Financial Corporation. He received a bachelor degree in pre-law from LaSalle University, is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University, and is Credit Risk Certified (CRC) by RMA.
